This American Girl mini doll was worthwhile seeking out! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and detail of not only the doll, but also of the wonderful "buckskin" dress, leggings, panties and moccasins!Have selected four of these AG mini dolls and their accompanying books to give to a reading-loving, history-intrigued little granddaughter...Can only imagine she will be thrilled!(Quality of these dolls reminds me of that of my Ginnie Dolls and the small Madame Alexander Dolls of many decades back -- wonderful!)

It is so hard to find authentic-looking dolls for girls of color, especially Native American dolls. What a treat. My niece literally screamed "KAYA!" when she opened her present. All children no matter their background should have a culturally diverse set of dolls - Kaya started me on being an adult doll collector. The mini-American Doll series is wonderful and every doll is beautiful but Kaya is my favorite by far.
